TALK TO YOUR WINGMAN PROJECT UPDATE

The Joey Beauchamp Foundation continues to work closely in partnership with Oxford United in the Community (OUitC) and Oxford United Football Club (OUFC) in a relentless drive to address mental health concerns in our community and beyond.

The Joey Beauchamp Foundation in close partnership with OUitC is proud the launch the “Talk to your Wingman” campaign.

This campaign will further develop a focus on a series of collaborations with a range of organisations running programmes relating to tackling mental health issues.

The collaborations are as follows:

  • Cherwell Counselling – which provides affordable counselling services
  • West Kidlington Primary School – developing educational resources relating to improving mental health for young people
  • The Nature Effect – Inside Out – Gardens for Good – providing a peaceful reflective space for families, staff and the prison community.
  • St. Mary’s Church Kidlington – Providing support for parents or carers who are living with people with mental health issues

Luke Beauchamp founder of The Joey Beauchamp Foundation said:

“We are very excited about working together with our partner organisations and we know that this is another step in the right direction for our foundation. We are determined to make a difference in helping people dealing with mental health issues in Oxfordshire and beyond.

We are very grateful for all the donations and support that we have had and although we are in the early stages of developing the foundation we are already seeing a positive impact of our partnership work. 100% of all the donations received by The Joey Beauchamp Foundation go towards supporting work with our mental health partners.

Over the course of the next few weeks, we will keep everyone updated and provide more details of the projects. We remain grateful to OUFC and OUitC for their continued support.”
