Foundation Launches Mental Health and Wellbeing Services Directory

The Joey Beauchamp Foundation has launched a new Mental Health & Wellbeing Services Directory to help people find appropriate support more quickly and easily.

One of the hardest parts of experiencing a mental-health crisis – whether personally or as a family member – is knowing where to begin. Working with 22 organisations and services, we have created one accessible place where people can find crisis assistance, counselling, support for young people, men’s mental-health services, peer-support groups and wider wellbeing advice.

The directory is designed to support anyone who may be struggling, as well as family members, friends, coaches, employers and others who are worried about someone.

This project is deeply connected to why the Foundation was created. During Joey’s struggles, finding the right help was extremely difficult for Joey and his family. We want to make that journey clearer for others by improving signposting and making trusted support easier to find.

The directory will continue to develop as further services and resources are added.
