The annual Joey Beauchamp and Chris Potter Charity Football Match took place at Oxford City’s MGroup Stadium on Sunday 5 July 2026.
Former teammates, familiar footballing faces, friends and supporters came together to remember Joey and Chris while raising funds for three local charities: the Joey Beauchamp Foundation, SeeSaw and The Abingdon Bridge.
The day began with an over-65s walking football tournament before the main charity match, creating an occasion filled with football, friendship, memories and community spirit. It provided a fitting opportunity to celebrate the lives of two much-loved Oxfordshire footballers while supporting organisations helping local individuals, young people and families.
The event raised £3,524.52 in total, providing £1,174.84 to each of the three beneficiary charities.
