Twenty-four teams from businesses across Oxfordshire came together at Oxford United’s training ground on Friday 29 May 2026 for the Planet Recruitment 5-a-Side Business Tournament.
The event brought together hundreds of players, supporters and volunteers for an evening of football, fundraising and conversations about mental health. Through team entries, donations, food and drink sales and a charity raffle, an outstanding £7,340 was raised for the Joey Beauchamp Foundation.
The money will help us continue raising awareness, promoting trusted mental-health resources and supporting local initiatives that can make a practical difference to individuals and families across Oxfordshire.
We are enormously grateful to Planet Recruitment and Planet IT for organising another fantastic tournament, together with Warburton Building Services, Oxford United, the participating businesses, referees, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who donated prizes or supported the event.
The success of the tournament demonstrated what can be achieved when Oxfordshire’s business and sporting communities unite behind an important cause.
